Our farm houses an enormous population of birds. If you are interested to add bird shooting to your African game hunting experience, we are happy to accommodate you.
Some bird species that can be found her are Rock Pigeons, Laughing Doves, Helmeted Guineafowl, Francolin, a variety of water birds.
The Sandgrouse also travel great distances to drink at favoured water holes on our farm during mornings. They are agile birds and are hunted as they approach the water in large numbers and descend at high speeds. Come and have a look as they are challenged by Doves, flying with extreme swiftness and remarkable acrobatic skill.
La Pumba Hunting Safaris also offers the option of Clay Pigeon shooting.
For the wildlife and game lover we have a variety species of mammals and birds that will keep you fascinated.
Our open safari vehicles are 4X4 driven and allow for great views as well as safety during the drive.
Game drives are conducted during the cooler hours of the day, being early mornings or late afternoons, by experienced rangers and game trackers. They are always keen to share their knowledge of the environment and will help assist you with any wildlife photography.
Let us provide you with an authentic African safari and help you experience Africa the way it was always meant to be.
